Herman Miller’s
Alexander Girard: An Uncommon Vision

Project Management, Archival Research

My team at Standard Issue and I brought Herman Miller’s celebration of prolific designer Alexander Girard to life during Design Week in New York City. Alexander Girard contributed as Herman Miller’s Creative Director for over 20 iconic mid-century years, working alongside Ray and Charles Eames, George Nelson, and more. This exhibition showcased rare archival pieces as well as and new releases by Herman Miller and Vitra. As the project manager orchestrating the design, production, installation and deinstallation of the exhibition, I worked with architects, graphic designers, and industrial designers to conceptualize the space while coordinating with Herman Miller’s archival team and branding specialists.
